I gave this book 3 stars because, as seems usual in modern novels, it took ages to get to the point. I suppose that is because the story is relatively flimsy and requires a lot of padding. In the case of "Seed" this was accompanied by the author's irritating habit of gilding the lily by embellishing each description with a "like a".4/5(K).
